Thirdly, every two seconds they bring you a meal or something to drink. I mean how many times can you eat in few hours time span.
Other than that, I have no complaints..flights within US weren’t a problem at all probably because none of them exceeded 3 hours.

I can never eat airline food…everything smells the same…eweee…then again Emitrates was serving gourmet food…but my kids wont eat anything …and with my younger one’s food allergies…I always have to take her own food with me…

I’ve been travelling on the Emirates for going back home…Going from the American planes to finally getting the Emirates is like reaching heaven…so much btter..Ilove the fact they disinfect all the passengers as they board…:)…and the channels on board r like a savior if u ’ travelling with the kids…the oly thingg was thier offering free booze…and when we were going to lahore from UAE…this nasty Dihatti was drinking and drinking…and trying to talk a little too much with my kids…I was like wth…freakin drunk!!!..anyway…The journey back and finally downgrading to the brit or the american airlines is like riding in a bus…I’m amazed that they havent downgraded to cushions instead of seats…
I havent been able to go in PIA yet…but again my mother and brother swear its really good(I guess only cuz of the VIP treatment they get bcuz of my Abu’s pilot friends):D…I am just too afraid to try it…

oh yeah treating ppl like cattle and spraying crap on them makes one feel very good eh?

yo are right about emirates quality verus most US airlines. in the airline quality ranking, Emirates is a 4 star, most american airlines are in 3 star category.

oh and PIA, thats a 2 star, so def NOT better than US airlines.

I have traveled every week for more than 4 years in a row and nobody, and I mean nobody is more sick of traveling than me. I hate everything about it. Packing, driving, parking at the aiport, miles of walking, checking in bags, being stranded at the airports because of delayed/canceled flights, security checks, lines, jetlags, hotel laundry, car rentals and international flights only add to it...custom, immigration, etc etc.

yeah but that is more like a reglar commute for work than tarvel, reminds me of my consulting days, week in week out, to glorious places like mini-hopeless, india-noplace, kansas-****ty, shoe-falls etc :)

Singapore Airline is the bestest. Best service. They actually serve icecream in the longer flights. very good choice of movies - usually 1 or 2 movies are newly released. I’ve seen superman, stewart little etc. in the plane while these were released in the theaters at that time.
The fun part is if you go from Singapore to Pakistan. That flight is hilarious. All the Paki keep asking for more and more stuff to eat & drink. Bathrooms are dirty but again its not the mgmt’s fault, its our fault.

but is singapore going to PAK now again because i heard after 0/11 they stopped.

Stop complaining people - atleast you dont have to travel in a wheelchair. Now I will appreciate every time I have travelled with an able body.

hey hey hey, its not all bad, u get to board the plane first, and thus be assured of room for your carry ons in overhead bins.

I dont mind all that if they have more leg room.

I am 6 feet 2 inches, and when I sit in a plane, my knees are touching the seat infront of me. And holding that posture for 10 hours just drives me crazy.

My knees start having this pain because a blood clot is developing due to lack of movement.

I think all planes should have a walk area where people can walk and remove tension from their legs.

Like remove 1 or 2 seat rows or something and make it into an area where people can stretch

hey u mean u dont like the cots they provide at the airports. i man aside form teh fact that they are filthy, have had al kindsa grungy ppl sleep, drool, and fart on those, and have a funky smell…what is wrong with them…ya snob

It is amazing how ppl dont have the courtsey or common sense to see who is sitting behind them, with one swift move they try to recline all the way back, then they wonder what is not letting their chair recline all the way and go on slamming their backs on teh chair. so far my knees have proven strong, but one day I am gonna hafta reach out and slap em.

My sister rocks, she is the most diplomatic person I know, a very smooth operator, but in her teens, with stuff like that she just pushes their chair back up, if they get huffy about it she says, well you did not have the courtsey of checking behind you, but you expect courtesy from others? ppl used to shut up.

I set the expectations right from the beginning, and block them from reclining or if they do recline all the way then my fidgeting and bumping of knees is annoyng enough that they rethink their plan.
