What does this Dream indicates?

Re: Spiritual Dreams

This gets more ridiculous by the second.

Re: Spiritual Dreams

It may not. Because the basis is still in Surah Yousuf when Yousuf (AS) was interpreting dreams told by two fellow prisoners.

Re: Spiritual Dreams

First, I don't think you should compare the OP to Hazrat Yousuf.

Second, if a person's dream has a good tabeer, say, he is going to get really rich; will Allah SWT change it just because another person made some different Tabeer. I think not.

Re: Spiritual Dreams

I am not comparing anyone with Yousuf (AS). But the story of Yousuf is given to us for guidance and if we can not infer anything because we are "comparing" anyone with Yousuf (AS), then what is it good for?

The story tells us that a tabeer presented by Yousuf (AS) to a "made up" dream of prisioner came true. Hence, it is advised not to make up the dreams and not to share with the person who has no knowledge of dreams.

Re: Spiritual Dreams

Better you ask a qualified scholar / pious person and not to disclose it openly.

Re: Spiritual Dreams

I was not expecting this that you have this respect to Ulemas, that saying ridiculous to their words. Anyways, if you are not agree with HOly Quran (Surah Yousaf) so thats your own thinking. But as a matter of fact, Allah has sent his Prophets for guiding us the right path, what they have done and what they have taught, that is purely true and is guiding line for every muslim rather for every human being in this world...

Re: Spiritual Dreams

No, I have none. The rules of this forum do not allow me to say what I really think of these snakes.

The story of Hazrat Yousuf AS does not mean that you start dissecting every random dream.

Re: What does this Dream indicates?

The power/knowledge of interpretation of Dreams was given to the Prophet Yousuf AS by Allah ...sort of like a miracle........

how do you judge, in today's world, who has the knowledge of interpreting dreams correctly?

Re: What does this Dream indicates?

^But you cannot deny that some of our dreams are true. But there are various types of dreams. Sometimes we see something in a dream and it happens exactly like that (has happened to me). At others, we see something 'symbolic'. More like a sign. But some dreams are just a product of our imagination. The way I see it, it could be because our subconscious comes 'alive' when we are asleep and helps to guide us.

Not everyone can interpret a dream. Actually, we shouldn't even narrate our dreams to anyone.

Re: What does this Dream indicates?

Peace,

Types of Dreams:

**Book ‘Interpretation of Dreams’ of Sahih Bukhari Hadith No. 144,
**Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah’s Apostle :saw2: said, “When the Day of Resurrection approaches, the dreams of a believer will hardly fail to come true, and a dream of a believer is one of forty-six parts of prophetism, and whatever belongs to prothetism can never be false.” Muhammad bin Sirin said, “But I say this.” He said, "It used to be said, 'There are three types of dreams:

  1. **The reflection of one’s thoughts and experiences one has during wakefulness, **
  2. **what is suggested by Satan to frighten the dreamer, **
  3. **or glad tidings from Allah. So, **

if someone has a dream which he dislikes, he should not tell it to others, but get up and offer a prayer." He added, “He (Abu Huraira) hated to see a Ghul (i.e., iron collar around his neck in a dream) and people liked to see fetters (on their feet in a dream). The fetters on the feet symbolizes one’s constant and firm adherence to religion.” And Abu 'Abdullah said, “Ghuls (iron collars) are used only for necks.”

Dreams are from:

**Book ‘Interpretation of Dreams’ of Sahih Bukhari Hadith No 113
**
Narrated Abu Qatada: The Prophet said, “A true good dream is from Allah, and a bad dream is from Satan.”

What to do when we see a good/bad dream:

**Hadith No. 114
**
Narrated Abu Sa’id Al-Khudri: The Prophet :saw2: said, “If anyone of you sees a dream that he likes, then it is from Allah, and he should thank Allah for it and narrate it to others; but if he sees something else, i.e., a dream that he dislikes, then it is from Satan, and he should seek refuge with Allah from its evil, and he should not mention it to anybody, for it will not harm him.”

Considering the above hadiths i.e. last hadith, If we would like to share our dreams then we may share it with those who are able to interpret it or with those whom we love so we can get a good advice and encourage from them to do Tasbeeh of Allah SWT.

Re: What does this Dream indicates?

Dreams can often have significant meaning. My mum has always had dreams that have come true, it's just about knowing how to interpret and understand the meaning of them. You shouldn't be so dismissive!!

Re: Spiritual Dreams

woww. Instead of not allowing you, you are still saying this ** The rules of this forum do not allow me to say what "I really think of these snakes".

Anyways, you have your own opinion IceSoul.
