Re: What do you do?

Oh c'mon! It's not so bad outside.

I'd love to go out for a walk if the sidewalks aren't too bad (cuz of the snow piled up). It feels so nice and fresh outside as compared to staying indoors for months. I feel more suffocated and dull staying indoor than going outside.

However, on a dreary winter day, I'd go eat out, go window shopping, or watch tv. I hate staying in for too long. It gets depressing.

Re: What do you do?

snow is almost gone. a little slippery but overall its ok to go out.

Re: What do you do?

I saw the game about a week ago and could not believe my innocent eyes that it was a qualified sport for the Olympics!!! I mean all you gotta know is how to sweep the floor!!!

Re: What do you do?

Sadiyah I actually went out for a walk last night. I got called up by a friend and she demanded that I go over to her house to help her with something. Now I had no car, and it was freezing out, and she couldnt possibly come over due to some stuff. So I grabbed my jacket and slipped on my shoes. Not snow boots. I have yet to actually get out my other coat or boots. What with coming from a place where it doesnt snow! So I guess I forgot just how cold it can get.

I start walking , my friend lives about a ten minute walk from me. I had forgotten that the bloody roads were like a huge ice arena , the freezing rain did have a lot to do with that. And I kept slipping and sliding, I am shocked i didnt land on my rear in the middle of the side walk. I have to admit we (canadians) tend to become pros when it comes to walking on ice. To top it off I froze. I mean I couldnt feel my face or my feet. And I was ready to kill my friend when I got to her place. Only I was too frozen to do so. Yes Im a summer person.

omg did you lose more weight? You’re invisible now !!!

Re: What do you do?

You’d be a gold medallist :snooty:

Re: What do you do?

MQ, you should’ve had your toque on or one of those face covering (whatever the heck it’s called) things to keep you warm. :stuck_out_tongue:

I must say I’m surprised you didn’t slip or fall, especially after coming from a desert-like (I’m assuming) place. Had you slipped, I’m sure you would’ve killed your friend. :hehe:

Re: What do you do?

^ I know eh. I should have worn a heavy coat and ten hats , not just one. There I was thinking it wouldnt be sooo cold. I was wrong.

lol yeah me too. I have to admit its weird going from a desert like place to the north pole.

I only like how lovely the snow looks. Nothing else about it.

haha my friend survived only because I didnt fall . If I had I would have turned around and gone back home !
