shakarQandi is sweet potato. Gola gandaa is ice pop and Gajak…well chikki is peanut brittle :snooty:

Gajak is brittle...

The whole fun it in cracking them up yourself and eating the shelled nutmeat. Yes nutmeat is the word for edible part of a nut.

I recently bought a bag full of pine nuts from the Bulk Barn in Oakville.
They arent bitter at all.

they are made with both guR and cheenii [shakar]

only the stale/old nuts taste bitter. it’s important that you buy it from the fresh stock.
