Salaam :I lived there my whole life, but am currently studying overseas. I admittedly am part of the more priveleged class, but know many who are not.
Their life is often hell.
When sick they have no govt ambulance to come screaming to take them,they have an empty Edhi van.They have no decent hospital to go to when ill, govt hospitals are trash. Then when they are violated in a criminal manner they have no one who will honestly help them,they have to rely on connections.
IThere was a link of an article i posetd weeks ago, at a govt meeting on Pakistanis abraod, the foreign sec said that many of those Pakistani’s in jail abroad would rather stay in jail with a chance of staying in that country, than coming back to Pak. That says a lot.
i could go on, buy why go on, it won’t make a difference, and will not help a sad situation. Jinnah would have wept if he knew how Pakistan has turned out.
I don’t believe i am pessimistic, I believ I am realistic. Sad, very sad.
