Re: what do u miss most about Pakistan
so when I miss Pakistan, its a combination of things that I will never ever have again. Pakistan is a part of that time, that carefree phase, that time with cousins, that time with elders. I can not go to Pakistan and recreate it..the time, the people, the lifestyle its all different now.
Totally agree with that. Back then spending every summer during school/college summer break was loads of fun, cuz all my cousins and grandfolks were still around. Now most of them are married and moved to various locations, and personalities change, its not the same carefree childish fun. Same as you, no more grandparents. My daadi amma was my #1 reason for visiting every year, with or without parents, may she rest in peace.
Otherwise now its just the shopping, the food...i dont really miss relatives anymore...most are here...and the one's that are there...im not too close to.
I miss my mother in law/father in law, god bless them hope to visit pakistan soon!!!!

Re: what do u miss most about Pakistan
The time period between fajr and about 6-7ish. No one is up except for the really intelligent or hard-working kind. Heh, I guess I like that because I dont have to deal with the majority of the Pakistani population who tend to be inbred bunch of *&%$
I also like the coo-cooing of birds at that time in the morning and the smell of dew in the air. Sure beats the rise of pollution later in the day.
Re: what do u miss most about Pakistan
