I'd say dish the trousers and wear it with black stockings.
I wore a grey dress recently to SATC movie and for the eyes used a pink color eyeshadow over all then a blue over the lids with a shimmery pink on the arch.

may be you can try the smokey eye look again… i’ve tried this one and it works for me…

white shimery powder all over your lids..and then a little bit of black at the end..and kajal and mascara

Looking at the dress pic (love the shoes btw) the dress looks quite simple...i like the idea of a grey/silver smokey eye with a touch of lilac.
I'd cover u're eye-lids in silver and on the crease blend a very dark grey or black inwards, line u're eyes with black eye-liner and taper it the end upwards!
Interesting ideas - not sure about lilac...dont know if it will suit me...
I thought about doing smokey eyes...but it just seems so difficult...

Thanks Sunset, as i soon as i saw them, i fell in love with them and bought them. Made couple of excuses and got bit of a discount...hehe...
Well he thinks i am just taking him out for a meal..but i have arranged alot of friends to be there...its a really nice, expensive lebanese restaurant. Also arranged for a choc fudge birthday cake...to be bought out...whoo hoo...cant wait shinoo...:K337: Inshallah.

Sounds lovely. If he really doesn’t have a clue then I’m sure he’ll be really really surprised!
My hubby always wanted to have a surprise bday party. Next year is his 30th so I’m planning to have a huuuuuge party forty for him, insh’allah. I will have to tell him about having a party cuz it’ll be too big for me to handle alone but I will make sure I’ll add some surprise bits in there
