I’ve had peels and they really look a hell of a lot worse than they feel..
Usually just burns (and not even that if lower concentrations) when the TCA is being applied and whilst it’s frosting.. Pain-wise not too bad as long as it’s not a deep peel.. If you’re not used to it tho those deep ones will kill..
