Almost finished reading Saris And The City by Rekha Waheed. It's chick lit, bit boring in some parts though cos too many references to working in equity which i know nothing aobut lol.

Just finished reading 'Between the Assassinations by Arvind A something, the guy who wrote White Tiger.

It wasn't as good as White Tiger, but I quite like his writing style. His wit is genius.

It's not a novel though, short stories.

OMG we have such different taste in books Milly. I hated White Tiger.

Currently reading: Skipping a Beat.
lovely book so far.. you totally get all attached to the characters

White Tiger was genius! His wit is so British even though he is so Indian.

Reading Northanger Abbey for the second time :) I haven't gone to the library for a while, and since my exams are done, gotta pick out a new book :) Any suggestions?

Have you heard about the Dutch author Kader Abdolah? His work ‘The Hous of the Mosque’ is worth reading. It’s also in the same time period and beyond. Amazing fiction. It tells the story of a family during that time whose inner relationships change during and after the revolution. There is so much more though in the story. It’s definitely worth your time.

Last night I finished reading ‘Naming Infinity’ by Loren Graham and Jean-Michel Kantor. The personal stories behind the mathematicians are touching and surprising. Maths was never so interesting before. Religious ideas (Name Worshipping) inspired some of the charactesr in that book to amazing results.

One of the greatest Dutch writers ever, Lodewijk van Deyssel, wrote some of the most beautiful proze I have ever read. His book ‘Uit het leven van Frank Rozelaar’ is available online:

Yes I did - several decades ago. Enid Blyton had the knack of bringing the characters to life :)
