But then there a lot of people who say and believe that wazeefa’s do work i.e. we even know such people who say that they were told to recite so and so surah at such and such times and their duas got granted…someone told this aunty we know to recite a dua at certain times every day for a certain number of days and pray for a baby boy (because she wanted one) and her dua did get granted…so what do people who don’t think wazeefas aren’t necessary or recommended say about that? aaiween pooch rahi hoon emotional hokay hyper nahi hojana.

Oh there is really no reason for any one to get upset over your question and I don’t mind answering it at all.

Really it all depends on what the “supposed” person recited. It could be that they recited something correct. Also, what ever they made the dua or chanting for was perhaps already in their qadr. So judging hypothetically is very difficult.
