i think educating the public… and maybe governments can have incentives for giving birth to female children like every household below the poverty line that has a female child will get some cash amount placed in a trust fund for the girl’s education and/or marriage

Talk about unintended consequences. Folks will start aborting sons. This is a complex problem that is solved by education. Mainly women need to be educated. And that is why Malala 's efforts are Nobel prize worthy.

As for punishment for Abortion, nothing could be more asinine. Infanticide punishment? Sure. Abortion? That is choice, which I guided by education.
