The implication, as you might have guessed it, is that the sex ratio in population will become unequal. In China (due to one child policy) and India the female population is considerably less than males. As a result the present and coming generations of men in these country will struggle to find mates.

indeed! but what should be done about it why do you think it happens and so what if there are more men than women?

i think our society considers girls as liabilities while sons as assets. we think that to raise a girl and get her married will be very difficult and economically draining. it’s our thinking that translates into our actions.

there must be strict laws that are applied universally across the board and the violators punished severely. ABORTING FETUS must be treated same as MURDER…PERIOD!!!

what else could be done?

i think educating the public… and maybe governments can have incentives for giving birth to female children like every household below the poverty line that has a female child will get some cash amount placed in a trust fund for the girl’s education and/or marriage
