In North India this is more common. Female pooulation trending lower. In Kerala, female population is higher than male population. The difference? Kerala is one of the or the most educated States in India. Including women. So key is to recognize the root of the problem. And address it. Educate, educate, educate.

In the Malala Nobel Prize thread you expressed bewilderment at her being considereed for the Nobel prize. Several expressed similar sentiments. Here is an example - you want killing of girls to go down? Educate the girls and women along with boys and men.
