Mascara is my obsession. I always have two different kinds: one drugstore and one department store brand. Ive used Loreal Voluminous in Black/Black since freshman yr in high school. Lancome's Definicils is the other. However, I tried their Virtuose a few days ago and that was amazing.

Ive heard a lot of good stuff about Dior Skinflash. Is this foundation or concealor? Im not a foundation person at all and when I use it I mix it with moisturizer so I dont have a lot on. I dont use concealor at all...not because I dont need it but because Ive no clue how to use the stuff.

re: dior skinflash - it's basically just a concealing/brightening pen like YSL Touche Eclat but i think the skinflash shades are better.. ysl's are a bit 'off'.

desi_beautii - you just twist the bottom and the product comes up into the brush. i just dot it on where ever i need it and blend/pat with my finger.

psquared - if you're not a concealer/foundation person, touche eclat or skinflash are great because you can't really go wrong with them. there are only a few shades and they blend into your skin so you don't need an exact match as you would with a regular concealer. bear in mind these aren't for covering/concealing completely like a regular concealer but rather to lighten dark areas or highlighting. if you want something similar but with a bit more coverage you can try estee lauder ideal light brush on illuminator.

anyway.. i love it.. even if i'm not wearing any other make-up, a bit of this under my eyes, on my eye lids and the sides of my nose evens out complexion and makes me look awake.

It's strange that they discontinued the skinflash in the UAE, I too am a fan. And girls do try maybelline mousse blush it's great!

:( that sucks, doesn't make sense either...i don't think they market it as well as ysl does for touche eclat.

ok its taken me a few days....... these are my fav's:

  1. Estee Lauder Day wear Plus - tinted moisterizer feels like silk on your face

  2. Mac Vanilla Pigment - Its soo Versatile for eyes, Cheeks mix it in your Foundation for a glow, luv it!

  3. Mac Charged Waters - Sets your Make up for the day

  4. Mac Prep and prime - Seriously girls its like silk on the skin once u put your foundation over this it stays put!

  5. Mac Make up Brushes - Dont need to explain they are just the best!

  6. Lov joy Blush mixes with Frankly Scarlett (both MAC) i have fair skin and gives me the perfect glow

  7. smolder eye pencil (MAC) most days i will just wear this on its own and im ready (i really cant live with out it)

  8. Dermalogica - medicated clearing gel - ok its not make up but when i get a spot coming up i just put it on and let it work its magic

  9. Earth Angel eye shadow palette (NARS) - natural smokey eye

  10. i brought a fluidline a few years back but it dried up (u have to make sure the lid is properly tight) i recently brought it agian and i luv it

i think thats my favs :)

oh yeh and my full coverage foundation (by MAC)

alot of ladies have said that mac eye shadow is very expensive, i agree it is,, but im gonna be ordering some eye shadows with coastal scents and ther eyes shadows are meant to be very gud so i will keep you posted if they are any good :D

I'm actually tired of makeup =( been buying.. doing brides, model makeup for too long sigh these days I scrub with st. ives and put-on body shop vitamin e cream and that's it!

Special occassion: Bobbi Brown foundation stick and eye-primer in vanilla.
Body Shop felt eye-liner
Inglot eye-pigment or MAC eye-shadows

I have brief phases where i'll convince myself to take up makeup which pass away way too quickly :(

But I cannot live without black eye pencil and Napoleon Lip Primer which also doubles as a gloss.
