There is a little more to the story here. When a person is granted a green card, it is for the purpose of living in the US and it comes with all the privelege of living here and the responsibility of following the rules. The rules include residing here in the US for a certain amount of time. It seems that this social worker did not reside here, he VISITED. That is not what a green card is used for. Abuse of or mis-use of the green card will assuredly make you a target of immigration officials. Its a shame that such a good man was targeted, but he was targeted by his own mis-use of the green card privelege. I'm quite sure if he were a visitor with a visa - in compliance with the rules of this country, he would not have had a problem. Red flags are automatically raised by rule-breakers yeah?
And PS dl, I have NO idea where you heard of people having to get naked in the airport!! LOL!!! Not true.
