if it was because people can’t afford to send kids to school, there wouldn’t be a difference in the enrollment rate of girls vs. boys. there is a big gap between the two, and the TTP were further widening it. she campaigned against demolition of girls schools and awareness to educate girls. this deserves respect, not just raising funds (which would come with increased awareness anyway).

Boys get picked because they would be supporting parents. Girls go to husbands.
So less money, boys get priority.
