Does Scotland Yard/British police have authority/jurisdiction to perform investigation against someone based on request of a non-citizen living in foreign (Pakistan) land?

That is the bottom line, investigations are carried out, commissions are formed and in the end reports are sealed and no action taken against the accused… so what was the point of whole drama of investigation?

All these investigations are just drama-bazi to cover public eyes with smoke, to make them believe that justice will be served. As it is today, you steal $100 from bank and get caught everyone in the bank including peon will be b!tch-slapping you. On other hand, you go into bank well suited-booted, good/shiny car, apply for loan using some connections and then never have to worry about repaying the loan. There, you got all the respect from staff while you looted the bank.

The Haves will have even more and more and The Have Not’s will have less than what they had before.

I have actively participated in electoral politics in 1990’s and even in 2013 and have seen up close the drawing rooms where the actual decisions were taking place in H Block Model Town (where Ministries were dished out based on who was the friend - Jam Yousaf was given the Ministry of water & Power just because he was close buddy and while awarding that Ministry the King laughed and stated “Inko Khaney Peeney Wali Ministry Deini Hai” - therefore I am not relying on second hand info.

The issue is that for well educated, well connected, and well to do - Pakistan is paradise but this heaven is built on the foundation in which each brick can be termed a common man. It pains to see the common man’s past generations, current generations living at the same level since pre partition days and still have no hopes in the future as people at the helm of affairs have to keep them (commoner) at the level in order to enjoy the fruits that heaven provides to them.
