Hafeez would have been out LBW on 39 had Windies opted for review. The on-field umpire’s decision would have been overturned as he was hit in line and the ball was hitting the stumps.

Rameez asks a valid Q: Why can’t Hafeez.com bat like this more often? Admittedly he’s not great against genuine pace but Hafeez has got most of the shots in the book

Despite this performance I am worried about our chances in CT (a tournament that we have never won). Only Babar Azam is an accomplished batsman in this team
Hafeez and Malik are not more than batting all-rounders. Shehzad is not reliable + wastes too many deliveries. Kamran Akmal is not very consistent with the bat. Should have played Fakhar in all the games. Sarfraz again is not a specialist batsman; he is a good utility player like Moin Khan
