thx God, i dont follow pak cricket anymore. Just check the score at end of the day or at end of the test match and move on.
Bottomline: cricket has become a lot more competitive in every aspect: physically, technically and strategically and pak simply does not have cricket infrastructure to compete with good teams or even second class teams. We have lost to WI twice in last few months and this WI team is as pathetic as it gets. Once younis and misbah are gone we will be even more pathetic. No real match winner has emerged in last 10 years and that says it all…just average players emerge who will perform for some time and will then disappear (azhar ali is good on a standalone basis but does not have that kind of leadership persona and charisma to pull the team together)

Only one reason for this defeat. NEGATIVE Batting. This pathetic timid tuk tuk approach needs to be shelved for good
Although batting became difficult from late day 4 onwards, this does not excuse extremely poor batting on the 5th day.. this was not an 81 pitch. There were no demons in it. Both Sarfraz and Amir showed that you could still score runs on this wicket if you batted positively and attacked the bowlers.
West Indies B team beat us. What a horrible display!

pathetic slow crappy batting from pak openers and middle order.
they take forever to score where other teams are easily scoring at 4+ an over…Pak takes 10 overs to score 15 runs.
the pathetic loser mentality has not gone away, scared openers that are afraid to play a 3rd rate WI bowlers. They make them look like heroes.
Is this what they’re preparing for WC ?

alas, this was a true statement by me … doesn’t matter if Pak wins or loses. I just lost interest in Pak cricket after 2010. simply put, it is too boring, zero stars, no fast bowlers, no aggressiveness, just dull. the fact of the matter is that Pakistani cricket always flourished by its stars, by its charisma, by its sheer talent, by its fast bowling, by its naked unpredictability …and then we suddenly lost all of it…we have produced zero match winning players after 2009. still playing 90s cricket, too slow, too dull, too boring, too pathetic, plus physically unfit. I hardly know any player in current Pakistani team except Mohammad amir, misbah and Younis and mabe azhar ali.
and this WI team…dont want to say anything. guys i am from a generation who has seen 1988 Pak vs WI series in WI. you have no idea of the level of suspense, competitiveness of that series
and a few days ago, i ended up comparing current Pak and WI teams to Pak/WI teams of 1988 and i ended up vomiting by stress. My wife wanted me to take to hospital but i told her I am just fine… and asked her to change the willow channel on which some idiot WI bowler named holder was bowling his slow fast bowling to some Pakistani jokers. the cricket standard was shamefully low.
