The problem i’m seeing here is that Pakistani top batting order consists of three unconventional batters : Kamran Akmal, Hafeez and Malik. And since shehzad cannot be trusted as a proper batsman, that leaves us with Babar Azam who is having a huge responsibility.
Luckily today he did great and made his career best score. But this can be a very serious issue. Pakistan needs atleast one more proper batsman. You cannot rely completely on flukes.

And that means Azam ends with a new career-best. Been a very fine innings, although we won’t know the true value for a few hours yet. He’s helped give Pakistan a decent target to defend even taking into account what happened in the first match. He and Imad Wasim added 99 in 11 overs to give a stalled innings a late turbo-charge. West Indie were very good for 40 overs, pretty poor for the final 10. But the chase will be well within their compass. It should be an interesting second half. Join us for that in half an hour

He definitely needs a set batsman on the other end so the pressure is off on him and he scores in his natural style. Otherwise we may not be able to avail his talent.

so , we were looking for a series win and now under pressure to save it. I hope that WI will again prove me correct. There most batters have fired up in last match now they will wait for next few matches.

If paksitan score 300 again , they will reaach 250 max. prior that wahab riaz dont make such bad bowling.

They msut bat first today else , will be difficult to chase 250 for us.

See they proved me correct again. Once wi batters fired they will relax for next 10 matches

Windies batting is just so erratic and inconsistent

Pakistan did not bat well themselves as a team. The last partnership (final 7 overs to be precise) gave the total some respectability. Without Babar’s steadying hand they might have not even posted 240 and then it becomes a different ball game altogether

One of the two Shehzad and Hafeez needs to go and be replaced by Fakhar.
