weird habits...

Re: weird habits...

Faris bhai...

Which pets you have at home?

I bet dog and horse is must....but is not having a horse at home in uk expensive?

Re: weird habits...

^ Not neccasarily, its hardly a thoroughbred stables. I keep 3 Mares all of them mix breed ponies rather than horses but full of guts.

Besides them we have some goats and chickens, as well as 3 dogs and one cat. Might be getting some sheep but theres not enough pasture for a propper heard. Although theres enough for a small bunch of sheep or goats. Decent goats are harder to find.

Re: weird habits…

Didn’t know you were a regular farm boy. :k:

How do you manage everything or do you have a lot of paid help to take care of everything especially when you live a nomad lifestyle as you say ?

Re: weird habits...

Wife and her fammily are a big help. I also have a brother in law and his fammily and my other brother who is getting married tommorow... All in all there are plenty of us. The Women do a lot of work too especially looking after the house and pets when i am away.

Re: weird habits…

Congratulations on brother’s wedding.
How many brothers and sisters do you have ?
And is your wife’s family from Pak or are they local Brits ?
Also do you grow any produce if you have a lot of land ?

[BTW, do they spell family with double m’s in the Queen’s country ? :cb: No offense, just checking.]

weird habits…

I double check everything..or maybe even thrice..and I look at it for a long time..to check if im checking right:cb: examples..taps..kitchen stove..doors..laptop etc

My legs start shaking and I get butterflies in my stomach whenever I visit a doc..even my child’s paed..and I soon as I enter, I forget all the questions I wanted to ask.

Even if Iv spent a small amount on alot of things I panic that I must have missed something must have spent more hence recalculating

Re: weird habits…

I have the same habit. Even I check the lock of the door many many times when am going out somewhere. I check the kitchen stove before I go to sleep lol

Re: weird habits...

When are you inviting us over? :D

Re: weird habits...

^ Just as soon as I can find a really big Marqee, I dont want to hire one but actaully would not mind having one permanantly.

I do have a couple of old tents but hardly suitable for guests... I cant make everyone suffer a campaign.

Mind you its been awfully wet ever since I came to Britian, at least since 2006 they tell me there has not been a decent summer. I dont know what to say to that... even France seems warmer in June July.

I mean the other day I had to help my community becuase of extensive flooding.... I mean torrential floods in June? Thats insanity... this is hardly Sawaan weather country... :D

Re: weird habits...

I hope blessed and weird habits of religious figures aren't mentioned in this thread :(

Autism

ADHD

Re: weird habits…

It’s OCD, not autism :snooty:

:cb:

Re: weird habits...

A more sophisticated way to say this would be "Sorry, I broke the wind".

I just don't like the use of 'F' words [unnecessarily]. :)

Re: weird habits...

^ Is there an unnecessary "the"

Re: weird habits...

Sorry, I broke a level 5 hurricane

Re: weird habits...

Possibly. I was questioning that myself.

I figured it depends on the situation.

For e.g.:

  1. "I just broke wind."
  2. "Who broke the wind ?!" or should it be "Who broke wind ?!"

Not sure. I just don't find myself announcing or discussing gastric events much. :D

Funny discussing grammar on this issue, though. Isn't it ? :)

Re: weird habits…

So polite, my dear. Now that’s more like it. :cb:

Re: weird habits...

duck, next one's a level 9

Re: weird habits...

What about a feast ? Will you sacrifice one of your goats or sheep to feed the Guppy Gang ? :)

Re: weird habits...

A feast?

Have you not been to one of our Desi Weddings... I think even the biggest bellies can be satisfied.

Alas I left my Brothers party early, taking most of my immediate fammily with me. We do not approve of Discos, but I wont be so mean as to prevent my younger sibling from allowing his guests to party...
