weight loss in ramzan

Spot on! No matter how much weight one looses in Ramzan, its counter productive because even going 7-8 hours without eating anything is really bad for the metabolism, and the ‘starvation’ mode kicks in and the body starts storing fuel in the form of fat, and the metabolism becomes sluggish and as a net result, a person would end up gaining more weight to begin with :hehe:

Honestly, theres no way around it, healthy sustained weight loss that is permanent cannot be achieved in ramazan, with that large window of ‘starvation’. The best way to lose weight is to eat in smaller but more frequent portions and thats impossible in ramzan. Every other technique, drinking water etc, is just damage control.
