As far as I know marijuana is self gowing weed in Pakistan. Specialy in Punjab.

hmmmm...do you see any high school kids or even middle school kids walking home from school? You could offer them 20 bucks to use the weed-hound and round up the weeds. I know what you're saying about burning the grass, its a huge job even for smaller lawns and theres always the worry that it would get out of control. My hub wants to do this and if he actually went for it, I'd be on hand with the water hoses!
ps...it grows in fields and along highways and roads too! And goats seem to love to graze on it lol! I kept watching them to see if they'd start acting all goofy lol

Mama, i dont think i can burn it! its a huge yard and I have never done this and I dont think its that bad... Neighbors might not like it either.
If I had like a weekend and a weed hound, I can pull it all off, but I can be a lazy bum at times!
I have tried the weed man route , they will come and spray weed killer and it will take care of the small stuff or pre emerge and they will tell you that stubborn weed have to be pulled by hand.
Read between the lines what Khumar is saying , if you want 100 percent weed free lawn you have to shed your laziness and do some manual pulling.

You are so right, Things multiply exponentially in the backyards. If I give it a break over one weekend ,I have to work many folds the following weekend.
It is an ongoing battle.

Majority of it dies. Some of it you can take care of by doing pre emerge treatment before spring. and some you will still have to pull with the help of your weed hound.

I worked for 2-3 hours today, and got alot of it out! It was fun, sorta... I got distracted by this stray cat nearby who kept sitting there and watching me until I called the humane society as it wsa kinda cold outside for that little bugger to be alone and homeless.
The plant like weed is almost a goner... Mirch, I took them out but threw them back on the ground, plan to pick them up tommorow... Now I shouldnt leave them there for more than a day right, or they'll drop seedlings and more will come out?

no if you leave the weeds out on the grass it just dies out, doesn't get reseeded or whatever. that's what you're suppsoed to do anywyas. move it around a lot like a day before it dries then it can seed itself.

^ I got rid of it all over the weekend! I feel so good about myself, only took like 6 hours lol!
After I was done, I mowed the lawn with the thing attached where it stores all the cut grass, so whenever some uprooted weed plant came in the way, it simply got shredded to bits into the grass container (take that weed!)

You are welcome , remember it is a constant battle , the spores/seeds of various kinds of weeds are always floating around, also the bugs , flies , birds etc also drop them off in your yard/lawn , so keep checking your lawn when the spring season starts in your area. It is easy to keep them in control from day one. It is too much work to clean them when they have spread and taken roots.
Also remember when you buy grass seeds for reseeding purposes buy the best possible as those bags of grass seeds are known to contain weed seeds too. You will see the bag will say 99.99 percent weed free seed , some will not have a claim like that on their bags.

The grass already pretty green, the sprinklers turn on every day and the grass grows fast too! Mowing your grass can be so much fun and I love the smell of freshly cut grass!
