congrats in advance. soz but won't really help u in any way, just talking from experience u could say. i don't know how it works in london but here in the north, ppl i know getting married here rather then back home, either rent out the local civic centre, any available churches, suites', restaurants etc
for 250 - 300 ppl, a church would be 2 cramped as a venue, :D] but their r other venues to consider. + for catering, desi pakwaan kai liyay, 'roti' down here r doing very well at the mo, u just pay them and they deal with all of the arrangements. i guess in london, there will be no shortage of quality caterers specialising in indian/pak cuisine.
