Kheer chatai after the ruksati. The groom's family is gathered with the bride and groom. I've seen it done two different ways:
A sister or cousin or someone puts kheer in the bride's palm (these days it's usually on a spoon or napkin or something but it used to be straight on the palm). The groom tries to get a lick (this is all very sexual and probably invented to break the ice) and the sister or whoever is holding the bride's palm, hand, arm, and keeps it away from him while teasing him with it.
(this method I find more disturbing). Kheer in bride's palm or spoon or whatever. Groom and his brothers or male cousins compete with the groom to get the kheer!
Ew. The first way is okay, I think.
