if you choose to go the print-yourself route, i highly recommend going to a print shop like tph (www.tph.ca) and asking for print on 130lb double thick cougar cover paper. they call it “offset” printing although technically it is not, but if you ask for that, they will know what you are referring to. they will also print samples for you so you can approve them and ensure everything is as you prefer.
you can pick up matching envelopes from a stationery store like the paper place on queen west (www.thepaperplace.ca). the more envelopes you buy from them, the lower the price and they have lots of embellishments you can add too. they also show you and help you out with more involved DIY stationery projects.
also, did you know you can design custom postage stamps through canada post? you can find all the info on their website and they are very well priced! you can choose an image, a photograph, a monogram, anything you like for your stamp! http://www.canadapost.ca/cpo/mc/personal/productsservices/atoz/picturepostage.jsf
