Either due to all the cruelty she has inflicted over the years or due to seriously messed up genes, the lady looks way older than 35 and actually resembles Cruella de Ville of “101 Dalmatians”.

Have to praise the US justice system though that they arrested the milionaire couple, in any other place they will have got off easily.

I love the fellow guppies who are really concerned about the well being of these two women (not girls - they are mothers) but have not unveiled their own personal plans on what they intend to do to help them. I mean this country has no bar on whom you want to help. Go reach out instead of being an armchair critic. Get your local favorite muslim charity involved. Take time off and try and go to see them.
Penmanship is a very powerful tool. Posting on forums and opening up the dialogue is very important, and part of the process to convert the typical mindset of apathy towards fellow muslims. At times, even I don't buy into the concept of raising awareness, because you think "Who the heck can I be impacting?". And to some extent, yeah you might not be impacting many people. But if you even impact one person to open their eyes and think differently on a topic, you might influence a change. You never know what people are thinking when they read your writing.
What makes you think people here are not involved in muslim charities? Is it that if I start quoting hadith's left and right and start giving Islamic lectures to everyone, that you'd think I'm involved in Islamic charities. But I criticise muslims, so there is NO WAY that I could be involved in community work? Talk about narrow-minded views...

CM, you are free to post whatever you choose, but have some manners. No need to throw insults.
There is no political agenda. I also happen to be a muslim. I see these cases and get annoyed that when muslims face trouble in the world, fellow muslims don't help. But the people who do happen to be of other faiths.
Its a fact. You don't like facts. Then don't read them.
Why didn't you do something about it?

As for the theme of this post, I am absolutely with PCG.
Before we point the fingers at the non-Muslim leaders, we need to rely on our own Muslim leaders and representatives to spearhead their fellow Muslims!
These women should have been welcomed by a local Muslim shelter not the local constabulary.

Something like this happened in California where an Indian real estate/landlord brought over women from his village and kept them as slaves/prostitutes....he was caught and all his apartments confiscated.
