We need another mod for the religion forum

Let’s have Nadia helping GFQ on this forum!

At least it will be someone similar to GFQ having compassion for her fellow being.

I think GFQ does a great job. If there is one forum which requires a lot of patience and wisdom to moderate, it is the religious forum.

For myself, I always keep in mind that it is mainly a Muslim forum and would rather NOT respond to a comment than post something that might be hurtful/derogatory/blasphemous according to others.

A1shah, do you have to go so far as to call it selective moderating? Thats way too much, surely i don’t deserve something that sounds so sophisticated. Truly…

Alright for those of you mumbling on about what kind of forum this is, its not merely a muslim forum nor is it exclusively a pakistani forum. Its a religious forum, where people from all sorts of backgrounds can come to share, learn and discuss issues of a religious or spiritual nature, without being subject to personal attacks, nor having their beliefs and religious leaders defamed.

It seems to me, that all of you are of age. Yet, many of you need constant reminding in regards to your language and behaviour. I’d like to remind you that i’m not your mother, though I feverently hope none of you are in need of such a reminder. Moreover, I’m not a caregiver looking after small infants, waiting with an ever-ready supply of bibs, kleenex, wipes, diapers, and whatever it is that is needed at a moments notice.
I’m GfQ, a moderator of a forum pertaining to religious issues frequented by mix of young adults & adults. A group of individuals that should know better than to indulge in personal attacks, distateful language and crusades defaming another’s beliefs, values and religion.

Certain individuals are posting here for what seems as though no other reason but to engage in conflicts; if these highly immature individuals did a little self-moderation, it would go a long, long way to the benefit of all who visit here.

Very much so. Thank you Nadia:)

A note to some. Instead of taking each and every word as a personal affront, directed at none other but yourself, allow yourself to reflect upon the words and suggestions of others. In other words take some time to breathe, smell the flowers, perhaps the flowers skv anand is referring to? perhaps not.

For myself, I always keep in mind that it is mainly a Muslim forum and would rather NOT respond to a comment than post something that might be hurtful/derogatory/blasphemous according to others.

In other words, behaving in a manner that would befit a muslim:) One which includes patience, self-restraint, understanding, and most importantly respect.
