Re: wat does this actually meanz

[32:9 and then He forms him in accordance with what he is meant to be, and breathes into him of His spirit:and [thus, O men,] He endows you with hearing, and sight, and feelings as well as minds: [yet] how seldom are you grateful!

This above translation is by Moulana Mohmamad Asad.

Now my take on this verse:
Nafakha fihee min rohi litraly can mean . breathed into it from his spirit.
But it can also mean that Allah put a spirit into it from the spirits which Allah owned.
So now rohi does not necessarily mean that Allah himself is a spirit and he injected a part of his own spirit into this body he created. In Arabic if I want to say that it is his book then I will say kitabahe, it is his water will be ma a he , same way roh he he does not imply that Allah himself is a spirit and he injected part of his own spirit into man. It simply means that Allah owned a spirit and he injected a spirit which he owned into man (he might have created this spirit specifically for this purpose . ) Islam has given us a concept of spirit and a physical body when a person dies his spirit gets separated from his body ,where it goes after this separation ? I do not know.
Allah knows the best.
