My daughter also felt like that. She asked me that mom, is Allah mian going to get mad at me for singing that stuff. I told her, no, he’ll probably get mad at your mom 
Anyhow, I think if we keep a balance and know our limits hopefuly we can stay on the right track.
What I’m impressed with is that her teacher emailed me a few days ago to ask me if it’s OK for my daughter to participate in school festivities because we are of a different religion. That was very thoughtful.
