I would say don’t change it now. Give the guy confidence by persisting with him at the top.

Just imagine if it was UA keeping and he had dropped Amla (that was a stunning catch by Sarfraz. the other stunner was Younis’s catch to dismiss Abbott), SA might have won by 6 or 7 wickets. Having a safe pair of hands behind the stumps can be the difference between victory and defeat.

My suggestion is don’t change it. persist with Sarfraz for now. If he can do it against Steyn and Morkel then he can face any pace attack in this World Cup.

agreed…he shd be in as a regular keeper

i want him to play down the order where we are struggling to score any runs in last 10 overs considering afridi is so useless but if we dont have any opener left, i guess we have no choice but to open with him
