I could not understand why Sarfraz career would be ruined if he opens? Even though Sarfraz bats better than most Pakistan batsmen, his career should depend on his wicket keeping as he is in team as W/K.
If Sarfraz drops many catches than only his career should get ruined as W/K (and if he does not make runs than as batsman), but here also, Pakistani wicket keepers are immune if they drop catches. For instead, both Akmal brothers have habit to drop catches, and still their career never got effected by dropping catches (Parchi zindahbad)
He opened in 4 ODIs. He made 180 runs in 4 ODis. In each one of them he made more than 30 runs. His scores are 32, 65, 34 and 49. His average as opener is 45 and SR is near to 90. His runs are against best world bowling attack (3 against Australia and 1 against SA).
Now how can his career would get ruined with this performance along with his wicket keeping records, and career of Shahzad or Hafiz would not get ruined even when their performance as opener is rubbish … (In ODi, Hafeez averages is 30 and Shahzad averages 34 … both as opener have lower SR than Sarfraz).
