let me tell you what is crap...pakistani fans..they suck.

This is the same team they were all gung ho about a few weeks back, so the team did not do well, maybe the team was not teh greatest, maybe the mgmt was not the best..etc etc etc...but this is the same group of guys who would have been idolized had they won...

..they lost..and now they are afraid to what the "fans" may do to them..

lanat hai aisay fans parr...bandwagon supporters.. they can all collectively go to hell.

i agree with u farauds bhia.. liakinn aisa hota hia and this is natural.. India pakistan kay match main siway shoib ki kharaab bowling aur schin ki achi batting kay alawa koi kuch ahi kehraha.. u knwo why.. because our team did their best to win the match against em..

butttttttttt what happened in pak vs england match...

aik afridi out hua to poori team nay out hona schuroo kardia.. this isnt fair at all..

Afridi...... kitnay aur chances dain os ko???

Saeed bhia...... stupidd ppls nay on ko WC say pehlay khilaya nahi

Imzamaam mota....... kisi match main double figure tak nahi pohanchaa.. yeh wohi imzamaam hia jis ko har koi like karta hai naa.. aur aik achay experiance players jab na chalainn to dukh hota hia

now the WC is overr..thr are other big tournment commin inn.. and now we are back to our normal situation where we love our team.. we hope em to do their best because in past yeahi wo players hian jo hamaray dil par raaj karte thay..

aur jab itniii qaroor awaam ki duaon main aap atleast apna bestt part hi na show karain to dukh hogaa..

aur yeh temporary ghussa hia.. abhi sharjah cup start hojaye ga aur agar hum jeet jatay hain to sab bhool jaingay kay kabhi hum nay in kay posters jalaye thay.. hum phir say muhabat karnay lagaingay apni team say..

aur agar hum ghussa nahi karaingay to team ko ahsaas nahi hoga hamaray dukhoan ka..

wo bhi pakistani hian hum bhi pakistani hian laikin hum nay on ko heroo bana karrr apnay mulk ko represent karnay bhaja hia and now its their job to do their bestttttttttttttttttttt.. like they did in India pakistan match.. but they didnt do well in England and Australia match..

well said umair.. :k: :k:

i wish thr is a way to communicate with pakistani team .. so they can hear what we have to say..

i dun disagree that saleem elahi was in good form but dun u think he is good for test cricket.. even if he score 100 he is gonna eat alot of balls first to get to score 100…

guys we need a captain who can stay for a long period of time.....Akram wont be playing cricket for more than a year or so....so after he leaves...we'll have to find someone else.....Moin Khan seems to be the only person capable of leading the team....with rashid latif n saeed retiring!

I don't think best players should be made captains. The captain should take advise and counsel from them but making them captain saddles them with distractions.

Personally, I think Pakistan were a good side when Wasim was a Captain. Decisions made by Waqar in this WC were pathetic, allowing Aussies to bat first after winning the toss, sendin' Afridi as a opener and not even playing Afridi against Namibia, Netherlands, when we needed him most.

I bet, Waqar will be sacked. No offence, he's a great bowler, but not good at captaincy.

Good Point. Waqar made really pathetic decisions and the team paid the price for it.

You know what's sad? Seeing great players who have achieved so much over a period of decades now afraid to go back home because things didn't go their way over a couple of games. I just had to listen to a whole load of crap about this today and it's very disappointing.

That's what happens when one makes too much of a game! Did you read about the hockey team promising to avenge the defeat of the cricket team? Are they stupid? Now what will happen if they loose?

I think Musharaf should pass a law prohibiting players from opening their mouth and appoint spokespersons

Xtreme what does this tell you? are we really fan of the players, or just living vicariously thorugh the victories of others.

being disappointed is one thing. Its natural to be disappointed when your team loses, but the expression of that with name calling and hate.

My point is real simple.. the same people, who were rooting for the same team (with all its issues and problems) are now cursing the team out for the same reasons which were present even before the world cup?

bandwagon fans who only need victories to feel better about themselves somehow, same mentality as the hooligan yobs have for english football, or hoodlums in uS have shown when their teams have lost (and in some cases won)

No sport needs these so called fans..

The only people who should nooch their sarr ke baal and curse players should be the ones who lost money in betting over the team. And then, at the end, they have themselves to blame. For folks like most of us, who wanted the team to win, because we are Pakistanis and the team represents Pakistan, yes, it was a disappointment, but hardly unexpected or the first time. Its a game, for crying out loud. We played lousy and lost.

Now, we just need to re-group, re-plan and prepare for a better future of the game. The fans should get a grip too. I doubt if we lost due to sattay aazi or anything. So atleast thats one good thing. If that had happened, we’d have more than one cause to throw unday tamatar. As things stand right now, the lads were just not up to the mark. Those who are burning effigys, should step forward and see in how much water they are (kitnay paani mein hein). Playing professional cricket at the highest level is no “ghar ki murghi”.

Ok, I am running out of cliches now, so should wind up.

Akram, you are a great cricketer. :k:
