"Free speech" does not equal "Quality speech" or
"Productive speech" or "Patriotic speech". It can mean any or all of those things.
Simply shooting your mouth off-pretending your a Native-and regurgitating tired,
liberal, anti-American bullet points may just be "speech" plain and simple. Nothing special or laudable about it. He's got the right to look like an a-wipe and he's been excerising that right productively.

The right to free speech does not mean that there are no consequences. Other people have the right to speak too.

If an Iranian professor makes a statement that Iran should not pursue anything nuclear and start normal relations with the west/US and for his statements the Mullahs get him fired from a school for 'unpatriotic' , 'radical' or ‘politically charged’ than how would it be any different than what this nutty prof. said?
All speech is relative to time.
I am still surprised that the Yale Professor who "suggested" that the lack of women in engineering & science could be something genetic had to take back his words & appologize.

The guy shouldn't (probably legally couldn't get fired), but he should be exposed.
Now maybe CU will be a bit more discriminating who they hire. Perhaps they shouldn't put much stock in Native imposters with degrees from low-rent universities.
Ultimately CU will hire who they can sell. Kneejerk liberalism sells in Boulder, CO.
Parents should know what type of education they will purchase for their kids.
