Iraqi freedom? I dont think the soldier who wrote “Every iraqi should look like this” shared your sentiments. To the iraqis you guys are still the invaders. And they will not rest until the americans leave.
If tomorrow the world decides to invade the USA saying we’re here to free you from George Bush, you would naturally take up arms and try to defend your land - regardless of the motive of the invaders.
Most iraqis labelled as insurgents and terrorists and what not are civilians trying to protect their land from you guys. Imagine yourself in their shoes for a day.

its not a simple 2 groups involved here its not american forces versus iraqis fighting for their freedom. there are also yahoo us soldiers who should never been given a sling shot let alone a gun but thats what recruiting from the ghettos, barios and redneck town gets you. Add to the mix extremists who have been killign everyone who is not of their mindset..ranging from soldiers, iraqi policemen, iraqi medical workers. Then you start to get a clear picture.
I would not want to be a US soldier who gets labelled as an occupier while he is genuinely tryignt o do what he thinks is right for the people there because of the actions of the types of yahoos who seem to take pleasure in macabre pics and think of iraqis as subhumans. At the same time I would not like to be an Iraqi who just wants to leave in peace but is branded an extremist due to the action of the extremists.
Right now there is no way Iraq should be left to its own devices, we saw the results of that In Afghanistan and lets jus learn from past mistakes. Now if the rest of the world wants to send in its troops as well to control the situation and to stabilize teh country thats fine, but until then what is the solution.
The extremsists blowing up US soldiers and security and medical workers in Iraq are not goignt o stop just because Us forces are out, they will continue this to get their grip on power.

If America was a dictatorship then I would welcome any help I could get to get rid of that dictator. And if they did come and help and then tried to take my land or oil or whatever then yes I would fight them.
But America isn't taking land. America isn't stealing oil. America isn't installing some puppet government. America wants freedom for the Iraqi people. It may not work, but that is the goal.

Just like they never installed a CIA agent as president in Panama? Mr IndianaGuy i suggest you switch out of CNN asap and try to follow other medias of the world too.
Also if you get time do watch the documentary Bowling for Columbine by Michael Moore. You might not be willing to believe most of whats in it but its only natural since reality does bite a bit.

There have been no major reworkings of the way the US government functioned in 1953 against today; so it is not entirely unfeasible that the US is still willing to install puppet governments in foreign countries where it would better serve the short-term interests of the state.

If I was in the Middle East I would probably be ashamed that it took American intervention to improve the lives of my fellow arabs just like some of you are.
Is it that Islamic law in not compatible with democracy? It may not be. The Michael Moore crowd may be correct on that matter. But I hope they are wrong. Because no other sytem of government has been proven to improve peoples standard of living as much as the government being held accountable by their citizens.
It's ironic. You guys want us all dead, and we just want you to be free. And happy.

As for the Iraqi pics posted in teh site mentioned in concern! how can anyone justify poting pics of a dead with porn flicks! some d!ck here compared these pics with beheading pics and videos. OK those pics were posted by a certain terrorist group (which we all condemn) are you man enough to condemn these pics?? or its the "small" price Iraqi's should pay for their "freedom". These pics we are talking about are posted by a "civilized" army soldeirs! only a dumba$$ can be stupid enough that he can't see the difference.
PS:- If anyone go through the threads there, you will find some pics where the dead Iraqi's hands were tied up and his head was run over by a tank or sumthing. May be that was the part of "freedom" process as well.
