IK did none of that. He stated that they were our brothers and we should not neutralize them. He was against any and all operations against the Taliban.

TTP exclusively didn't target children in the past so this statement is mixing past and present. Even NS/PMLN have supported Taliban one way or the other, they have snake as pets and they provided stipends to their families when snake had to be caged for sometime. Lets come back to present and stay united.

but the problem is that you are now trying to spin his past stand on terrorism. Imran has been very clear about his stand and he never had any ambiguity about it. why are you trying to spin it? he was never ever in favor of any military operation.

I only recently read about him when the news about the hangings started to come out.
There are so many Tali attacks that it is hard to keep up with the details.

brothen... rma these two are not plans. 1-calling taliban animals 2-Condeming them after they strike. (NS +PPP + every one else does that.) This is a plan. 1-Looking into their formation + groups. 2-Looking into how neutralize them. 3-looking into how to empower local people(who all have weapons) (IK did all that.) Now his plan is based on study of other gorilla movements, like IRA etc. IF you want me I can quickly look on line on some notorious movements, and find out how they were stopped. As for locals being armed and taking on Taliban, if it was for intelligence and household defense, it is one thing. What you Monk sitting comfortably in the west talking like a burger is suggesting is armed militias whose loyalties can be bought and they haven't been successful with the village elders and militias blown to bits over the last decade.
We also have the example of the Anbar awakening where one of the reasons for defection to ISIS was because of non-payment of salaries by Iraq. I am sure PTI would open the cancer fund to fund these militias.
These chawwalian are nothing but trying to enable Pakistan's enemies. You are no better than Taliban apologists. I am seriously starting to hate PTI !

Late Mr Israr could not be any more wrong in his assessment. Hence clergy should not try to become statesmen or political analysts.
Its been 13 years and there has hardly been any compromise on Pakistans nuclear capability. Similarly, US or India have not shown any inclination to invade Pakistan. And his talk about crusade isn't convincing either, listen to our molvies and they talk about a coming bloody war, day in and day out. By that token we will be planning to invade the whole world.
Trying to divert attentions from Taliban problem have been started yet again.

IK, PTI an do a lot more against the extremism along with Shahbaz/Nawaz and PMLN. PTI should take care of extremism education, media, finances controls in KPK while PMLN can do the same in Punjab. If both of these parties are sincere in their efforts there is no reason Pakistan can't eliminate TTP in 5 years (or even less).
