Waqar is blind to his own failings as a captain. He doesn't want to take responsibility for a year of failure - maybe he doesn't want to go out on such a low but that's tough. Everyone has seen what has happened to a once feared side in the last 12 months and it can't be allowed to continue.

Interesting , after the Wc, how our senior players even blamed the send off ceremony as an added pressure. I thought it was a confindent booster to players according to the captain :D.

It was funny, In one of the interviews Waqar emphasized that he took 2 wickets against india in an over but overall the team bowled poorly lol. Poor guy desperately wants to make up for all the blunders.

Waqar Younis is the captain. He has to understand that he has to answer to 140million people. He should have some ghairat and just resign like Nasser Hussain did. Shaun Pollock is out and his team got more screwed by the weather. Pakistan didn't deserve it all together to be in super 6.

Imran Khan for board would be hella tight. I don't think Tauqeer Zia is gonna step down. First of all thier should be an issue who shoudl resign. Tauqeer Zia, WAsim Bar, Waqar Younis should resign without anyone even asking them to. But sad that not one has even thought about resigning.
