Miandad is a cricketing genius, absolutely no doubt about that, but his manmanagement skills are questionable. I think it is better that he is not with the team during series or tournaments. It might lead to unnecessary drama in the dressing room. Waqar himself was ok with Miandad passing on his invaluable tips to batsmen before the NZ series. Thankfully Miandad took the cue and decided not to go to NZ with the team. I believe only one man should have sole charge of the team as coach

You missed my point. I mean’t that the only batting advice they got was back in Pakistan. I wasn’t suggesting Javed to be with them. Aik mayan main dau talwarain naheen chal saktee. Plus Javed’s ppl skills are a problem.
