AW pls cn u tell me if 47 inches is gud for 5'6 height.. i want the shirt to b quite long but not absurdly long that my trouser is not visible.. pls help!

I'm 5'6 and wears (now) 47 inches long shirt with culottes or trousers.
As far uploading my pix ...i'll try to download them in my office PC and then upload here for you .
** Tip**: for normal n frock style shirt length
Normal Shirt Length : Keep it till your calf
* Anarkali/frock Style : 'd below ur calf i.e 5inches above ur ankle (if flat heels shoes)
:If **High heels*:keep it 3 inches above ur ankle

Tip:Ask someone to take ur measuremnt till upper calf .Stitched it in any inxpensive material .Try it out.This will give you a clear picture about the length of the shirt...

thx aimy.. ure sweet :) i just got a frock stitched of 47 inch, i think its a bit too long.ive got a trouser of 9 inch paincha(is this culotte?) now i think 45 inch is more than enuff for long kameez. i m also a bit too broad from shoulders n arms so do u thin 12 inch cullote will b too mch? i increased to 12 in cullote cus its a ordinary lawn kapra and i noticed even 9 inch looked small becus i think lawn shrinks or somthin wen u wear it. wots every1's opinon abt my case?
