I agree with thap on this one. I mean Ive gotten many such messages...some poor soul wanted a friend so what? I just message back and say ty but not interested. Some of the people were quite nice about it. I mean I think its just mean to hurt some poor soul by mocking him/her when they send such a message - even though such a message is often ridiculous - possibly.

Erm, mods, can we get the topic back on track. I asked a question in my first post that I'd like to answer...
Is this what its come down to? That when you want to make "friends" or (lets face it) meet the opposite sex, you send emails and pm's out asking people if they want to be "friends"?
There is only one thing that such guys really want. Its somewhat sickening.
