Re: Wall Street Journal calls Pakistan a Cash Magnet

mian captain1 saab, what is the point of having foundations when you will not let the struchure on top of it get built.
we must appreciate musharrafs effort for bringing democracy from its grassroots, but democracy can not happen in just 8 years, not even 20 it can take upto 50 years for it to come,

Re: Wall Street Journal calls Pakistan a Cash Magnet

I agree, the media will keep a very close eye on our elected politicians. Things are different to the pre-1999 situation, when we only had PTV as the sole tv channel. Now thanks to the media revolution started by President Musharraf we have more than 50 channels, who will keep a very, very close eye on econmomic as well political matters.

Re: Wall Street Journal calls Pakistan a Cash Magnet

yep and i have said it time and time again, these goons from pmln can not survive more then 2 months under a free media, this media what musharraf has given pakistan will torture these criminals.

Re: Wall Street Journal calls Pakistan a Cash Magnet

What planet are you in? Zardari is in almost total control with mush and sharief hanging on to his coat tails for dear life!

Re: Wall Street Journal calls Pakistan a Cash Magnet

Tariq bhaijan. It must be a very very long ‘coat tail’ for great President Musharaf to be hanging on - especially from great China where he is representing Pakistan as its head of state. :hehe:

Re: Wall Street Journal calls Pakistan a Cash Magnet

PPP have already said President Musharraf is a National Asset, that they want to work with. He is quite a cash magnet for Pakistan they have said.

Re: Wall Street Journal calls Pakistan a Cash Magnet

It all now depends on the new government - if they can bring stability to the country and continue sound economic policies, then we can continue to grow and attract foreign investment.
