Wahab Riaz & Trott Incident

Re: Wahab Riaz & Trott Incident

oh puhlease, we are so pathetic as a nation. its our own fault for getting involved in the whole betting stuff, not withstanding whats happening in pak right now, wahab is defffff most likely involved, his names comes up few times, and either way, what trott said is something i wouldnve said too....pakistanis generally have no manners, no tact, he couldve replied in a funny way, but noo we always bring peoples mothers into our stupid battles...

Re: Wahab Riaz & Trott Incident

^^ well I think you just jumped in while your salan burnt out and you are showing your anger here. If we see the last match we can see something good coming. I am not totally optimistic just after watching one match, but Pakistani team performed well at individual level and as a team. You cant believe, you want to say this or that.. get some proves before you state a thing. If you cant then just keep your blames to yourself.

Re: Wahab Riaz & Trott Incident

You are a Pakistani as well, so you agree that you have no manners as well. Generalising is bad. What Trott did was wrong and here you are justifying it.

Re: Wahab Riaz & Trott Incident

LOL i have told this lady so many times that stop bashing our team but she doesnt listen yaar

she is only good in life 1 section

Re: Wahab Riaz & Trott Incident

nadz123, how do you he is defentally involved? how do we know that all are involved? stop assuming stuff, wait for the reports to come out,

Re: Wahab Riaz & Trott Incident

get ur head out ur ********

and you dont have any proof either, of anything, so i would suggest you respect others opinions.

Re: Wahab Riaz & Trott Incident

yeah... how can you respect stupid opnions and without any basis?

Re: Wahab Riaz & Trott Incident

only stupid people do that :omg:

Re: Wahab Riaz & Trott Incident

well my own obervation was this- firstly he gets 5 wikets, and is a hero, etc etc, and then all of a sudden in the next match, hes doing a million no balls-really wide no balls, same as amir and asif....hes lucky maybe his name didnt get mentioned......looks more likekly he is involved, than isnt....either way, no one here can prove anything, so all the pro-pakistani -team-whatever-they-do can get their facts first too.

the fact that not once did any team member DENY these allegations shows it...did salman butt say he wasnt involved-no....he said theres no proof yet....very clever answer.

Re: Wahab Riaz & Trott Incident

you dont have a basis either. just passion and belief for your team.sportsteam bear in mind. anyone would think ive insulted your mother/religion.

Re: Wahab Riaz & Trott Incident

I think you need to get google the English dictionary a person who is NOT involved in a crime is innocent. Get the proves, proof him a culprit. We will not deny it! Awein hi Hawai fire :vivo:

Re: Wahab Riaz & Trott Incident

may be she lives in britian too :omg:

Re: Wahab Riaz & Trott Incident

hey nadz, if anybody is doing million no balls and wides, i don't think they would be in the team or they will let them bowl, wow million is alot score, but fortuntly england score 609 or something, would i love to see million score in an test match? all i am saying they could be guilty or not guilty, but i don't know that neither do you, if they are guilty suspend them,

Re: Wahab Riaz & Trott Incident

He gave a befitting reply, serves Trott right and the he beat the **** out of trott as well.

Re: Wahab Riaz & Trott Incident

yea, i don't have any basis, that's y i am keeping my shut, not defending them only saying wait until they finish there cases,

Re: Wahab Riaz & Trott Incident

Doesn't matter whether Wahab is actually involved or not, if you throw a flaming bait towards others don't expect people to bow their heads down and sulk in a corner specially if he has not been indicted yet. Trott indulged in taunting and he got a dose of his own, this happens in the cricket all the time. Check out what discussions took place between Lara and McGrath or McGrath and many other players before shedding little tears.

Re: Wahab Riaz & Trott Incident

nadz why are you so anti-Pakistan?

or are you just mad at your husband again? :D

Re: Wahab Riaz & Trott Incident

*An England and Wales Cricket Board spokesman declined to revisit the specifics of a bust-up described by home board chief executive David Collier as “regrettable” but “fairly minor in nature”. *](http://www.cricket365.com/basket/18856/story/6392232/Afridi-Trott-called-Riaz-a-match-fixer)

*The incident was brought to the attention of match referee Jeff Crowe, who quickly ascertained the situation could be amicably resolved in time for the toss to take place before a match Pakistan went on to win by 38 runs to level the series at 2-2. *
*Press Association Sport put Afridi’s claims to the ECB and a spokesman said: "The matter is closed. *

*“The match referee has judged the matter to be closed, and therefore we see it that way too.” *

Would this incident be:

  • fairly minor in nature
  • amicably resolved
  • closed so soon

if it were Wahab’s fault?

And @Nadz123, weren’t you the one brining your husband’s mother in quite a few threads (battles?) in life1?

Re: Wahab Riaz & Trott Incident

aap key walda nay :omg:
I love you Wahab  this is the right thing if you are playing with Aussies and English players ..you have to be strong enough …

Trott versus Riaz: why Afridi almost called the cops

Pakistan considered not playing fourth ODI after altercation between players

Pakistan’s one-day captain Shahid Afridi said Tuesday his team could have filed a police complaint against England batsman Jonathan Trott over an altercation with fast bowler Wahab Riaz.

Newspaper reports said Trott and Riaz had an altercation minutes before the fourth one-day at Lord’s, with Trott grabbing Riaz by the throat after both exchanged heated words in the net area.

Reports said the incident started when Trott accidentally struck Riaz with his pads as he took them off.
“When Riaz was returning after warming up Trott called him a ‘match fixer’ and that he (Riaz) was up to harming Test cricket and hit his face with the pad,” Afridi told Geo television in London.

“It could have been a police case because it is a crime to hit someone, but we showed a big heart and did not press for it.”

Trott was also involved in an ugly exchange of words with Pakistan wicket-keeper Kamran Akmal during the first one-day game at Chester-le-Street on September 10.
Riaz, 25, was one of four Pakistani players interviewed by Scotland Yard earlier this month over claims in the News of the World that spot-fixing took place during last month’s Lord’s Test.

The three others were Salman Butt, Mohammad Aamir and Mohammad Asif. That trio have been suspended by the International Cricket Council (ICC).
No charges have yet been levelled against any Pakistani player.

“The case is being investigated by the ICC and its anti-corruption unit and there are efforts to pressurise the Pakistan team on that,” said Afridi.

After the altercation between Trott and Riaz, Afridi confirmed that there were suggestions Pakistan should not play the match in protest.
“But we finally decided that it wouldn’t be appropriate,” said Afridi, praising his team for their spirit.

“There is a conspiracy to finish the Pakistan team, but Pakistani people are different, they rise under such a situation,” said Afridi.

Pakistan are facing fresh charges of spot-fixing during the third one-day at The Oval on Friday. British tabloid The Sun reported it tipped off the ICC that pattern of Pakistan’s scoring was pre-arranged with the book-makers.

The ICC has launched a separate inquiry on these claims.
PCB chairman Ijaz Butt’s claims that according to bookies, England players took enormous money to fix the Oval match, strained relations between the two boards and teams.
