Now…Zulfi Shaikh’s serial KHANDAAN which we recorded in SCOTLAND-Oct/Nov’2007..has been scheduled for telecast on ARY from 26th Feb-2009 every Monday to Thursday at 8 PM Pak.Standard Time.

Cast: Munawwar Saeed, Qazi Wajid, Raju Jamil, Nabeel, Kashif Mahmood, Ashraf Khan, Faiza (of Glasgow), Mikaal Hasan, Mona Lisa, Ismat Zaidi, Maria Wasti (and the former wife of Yousuf Beg Mirza?? I forget her name at the moment)…

A pure family drama—the serial has been converted to a soap with 36 minutes episodes each day from Monday to Thursday.

Found it! Thanks a million Uncle! It was gr888 to hear Humayun Saeed talk about Doraha. Both my hubby & I feel that Doraha was his best ever performance. He is a true 'actor'. Shahruhk & Amir Khan kiyaa cheese hain? We have our own stars like Faisal Qureshi, Adnan Siddiqui etc.! Considering strict budget restrictions, political situation & no formal training in t/ field of acting our Pakistani actors do great work. Bollywood kiya cheez hay , our stars can be easily compared to Hollywood 's top actors who have everything on their fingertips from millions of $$$ to formal education in this field, but Pakistani actors still kick b$$$! Great job Humayun & a very special congrats on Doraha's success.

Pls don't go too commercial w/ Doraha in t/ future & we loved t/ ending just thought it was a bit rushed . WE could have used @ least one more episode. Shehla does not deserve Umer, waisay to Umer does not deserve Sara either, but @ least they love each other & one giant mistake should not be t/ end of life. Waisay yaar Umer, Sara kay saath app nay bohat buraa kiyaaa thaa 'talaaq' day kar:( Shehala should never win other wise evil will win, As long as Umer supports t/ daughter it's ok. It was an unhealty marriage to begin with based on lies & decption.

You know friend--how I despise GOSSIP and though its not gossip--I feel that its baseless to discuss it. ALLAH T'A'ALLAH ki marzee hoti hai ke kuch loge aisi situations mein aajaa te hein--magarr iss ka mutlubb ye nahin ke hum uska mazaaq banaieyen--:(

I have my very high regards for Ayesha Sana...that I know she was not in the wrong on both the unhappy endings!

Second divorce pur to Doraha yaad aajataa hay. Waisay I have alwys thought you never know how it feels to walk in sum1 else's shoes etc. Recently Azfar & Maani were found (as usual) making fun of 2wice divorced Atiya Knhan (ex model) & other ppl . I did NOT appreciatte that @ all. Similarly anyone else (specially with a female) you never know what happens behind/ closed doors. Since men are still t/ dominating figures in our society you always have to wonder why are they still carrying such heavy egos.
