I have thought and observed about it.
What I have seen/observed all sorts of people use it one time or another (I never did

I actually came accross a gay once. He used to work with me when I was a student at the Univ. He used to ask me out to lunch but I'd resist to go out with him and always come up with some excuse. One day, he said, "hey don't worry, I'm gay." Ooooooooo, that was my first ever experience with someone telling me they are gay. My jaw dropped to the ground.
