He is in a great form now. What differentiates his career with the likes of Tendulkar, Lara, Kallis, Inzamam and Ponting is that they faced some ferocious bowling attack and nowadays majority of the teams don’t. Nothing to take anything away from VK, who in my opinion is a fantastic batsman.

Besides bowling opposition he has YEARS of success to achieve before being mentioned in the same breath as the guys above.

Also, I’ve seen him do quite well against Steyn Malinga and Zak.
