IMO nobody should be surprised about the Talibans trying to come back to power. Anybody, who is familiar with the regions politics, knows that this was bound to happen unless the Americans had stayed in Afghanistan for atleast 5-10 years. As far as the Karzai administration is concerned, he is too busy bashing Pakistan for all their internal ills.
