My Review of VEER:
A MUST WATCH.
Everyone who is a true fighter in life should watch VEER cuz they'll relate with it. N to all those who are nt strong enough to fight for the rite MUST watch it as you'll drive alot of strenghth, courage n positivity out of it. Kudos to Salman Khan for writting such a brilliant script n for enacting such a difficult role with immense honesty, soul n heart.
I wasn't expecting much from VEER cuz of it being an action movie n i knew even if it was well made n all it wud nt like say my fave movie ever most proly cuz i run away from action, war movies. And than all the news abt it being outdated n whatnot obviously leaves somewhat of an impact. But honestly after watching the movie i was left quite pleased.
MOVIE: I still won't say its can be my all time fave movie but it sure is one movie which i wl be proud of as a Salman Khan. It definately has that honesty of heart and soul in it. So infact VEER was better than what i had expected. I think the story is beautiful and Salman should definately write more. He has got his ...dad's touch MashaAllah.
PERFORMANCES:
SALMAN-I would definately count Salman's performance as VEER, one of his best performances ever. He has put so much of honesty, sincerity, hardword, heart. soul and strength in his role. He really suited the role to the T.
Mithun was really good, Sohail was ok, Zarine is ok she luks really nice when she smiles.
MUSIC:AN ABSOLUTEL DELIGHT! All songs are amazing. Each one of them is well written, well sung, well choregraphed n well executed. I think songs should have been promoted better or maybe they were. I m not sure abt that cuz i don...t watch much of tv. I m wondering how the music did cuz i absolutely loved it. Def one of the best music of salman khan's movies ever. I loooove Sureli akhion wale....salam aaya is so well picturized, its breathtaking,....taali is amazing n has such a nice folk flavor....mehrebanian is so catchy....n absolutely luv the alap of chitian.
CHOREOGRAPHY: AMAZING! You pick any song n its well done. Esp Salam Aaya is a delight. Totally loved all the steps in it and the coordination is beautiful. Taali is very well executed. I never thought i had like such kind of set up n dance but its brilliant.
COSTUMES: AWESOME! Zarine is one lucky girl for sure...she wa...s given beautiful dress, beautiful jewellery and gorgeous colors to wear. I don't think i have seen in any movie b4 such a good play with colors. And when it comes 2 Salman, well he is always dressed nice n he can make anything look nice. He looked buff even in pandari costume. And in his coats n blazers he luked super hot like always.
Overall a nice movies with everything done up nicely. The performances are good, music is good, screenplay, cinematography, choregraphy, dresses all r awesome. I didnt even feel it was dragging or long like i had thought it wud be. I would like to special mention the producer, director, Salman who risked all that effor......t for a subject which not many find very pleasing, but you guys are a winner all the way. You all need to patt your back and each others :D n be proud, very proud.
I would rate it 3.5(+0.5)= 4/5
*0.5 is for it being an action/war movie n still managing to grab my attention n not bore me for a single min. Bravo!!! :=)
