Re: Veena Malik and husband sentenced to 26 years in jail for blasphemy.
yes.
Here comes the twist:
…]Thus unto every nation have We made their deed seem fair. Then unto their Lord is their return, and He will tell them what they used to do.
(6:108 )
We have to be mindful of the fact, and should try not fall victim to “we are all awesome” That mindset is put in us probably for some other purpose.
When measuring our success as nation, we should not relay on good gut feeling. ![]()
Re: Veena Malik and husband sentenced to 26 years in jail for blasphemy.
The gangsters, murderers, rapists, slave drivers, land-grabbing mafias, the magicians roam free while some silly, insignificant celebrity and her husband are imprisoned under “blasphemy” which yet marks the lawless disparity of the nation. Pakistan is now indeed a safer, prosperous, tolerant and enlightened beacon of the civilized world. subhanllah.
Re: Veena Malik and husband sentenced to 26 years in jail for blasphemy.
Nicely said. If every country is more awesome than the rest, even open source cannot make this compute.
“this mindset is put into us for some other purpose”
Hey Prabhu, kripaya humein samjhayen iska mahatva kya hai. Yahi hamari prerna hai.

Re: Veena Malik and husband sentenced to 26 years in jail for blasphemy.
Doesn’t mean anything because the people have all left the country.
Did the judge even see if they were in pak…should’ve just thrown out the case cuz there is nobody under arrest
Re: Veena Malik and husband sentenced to 26 years in jail for blasphemy.
This piece of news is making Pakistanis look retarded.
People in Pakistan need to stop this crap. Really. Some qawwali existed before that show, so what? And if it was done in poor taste, that’s not a testimony to anyone’s imaan or lack of. It’s a testimony how anyone who has anything to do with “lollywood” is cheap, and makes cheap entertainment that no one wants to watch. And Veena is a product of that group of people.
It’s not worthy of punishing anyone to this extent. I’m sure if Rasulullah (SAW) was around he would not be administering these kinds of punishments. People dumped trash on him when he was preaching Islam, and did he do anything? No, he was kind to those people.
Does someone want to reference the Gilgit court to these pieces of Islamic history?

^ common-sense does not exist in Pakistan.
