India 255/6 (50 ov)

Zimbabwe almost won. Maybe they don't believe they can win anymore.

Ganguly seems to be struggling opening the innings. He is more comfortable at 5 now.

We need one more win to go through to the finals. Hopefully it will be tomorrow.

well done india

So what does jelly do to a ball - make it reverse swing or bounce less? Or just make the wicket sticky…

Dravid fined for ball tampering

PTI TUESDAY, JANUARY 20, 2004 08:37:58 PM ]

BRISBANE: Indian vice-captain Rahul Dravid has been fined 50 per cent of his match fee for “changing the condition of the ball” by match referee Clive Lloyd after India beat Zimbabwe by 24 runs in a day-night game of the Tri-series here on Tuesday.

According to team sources, Dravid was having a jelly in his mouth and accidentally applied it on the ball which was caught by Lloyd and third umpire Peter Parker on television.

The onfield umpires Steve Davs and Rudi Koertzen, it is learnt, did not lay the charges.

The hearing was attended by Dravid, coach John Wright, manager Shivlal Yadav and captain Sourav Ganguly, according to sources.

Lloyd rated it a breach of ICC code of conduct under law 42.3, a level two offence which demanded a level two penalty - that is a fine up to 50 per cent match fee.

Dravid was charged under the ICC Code of Conduct, specifically clause 2.10.

Dravid attended a hearing after the match and was subsequently informed of the penalty.

Oh my god, did you guys get a glimps of a girl who had her nipples painted to the Indian colours: orange, white, green. in a circle.

lax’ also scord his highest odi score of 106* {130b 5x4 0x6}

the pair together put ona record 4th wicket partnership @ the scg of 213 runs in 34.1 overs @ RR: 6.23 << amazing

Get on with you, she did not! vaisey you notice too much.:hehe:

sydney ground today looked like an indian one, so noisy.

Aussies are 121/1 in 16.2 overs.

The needed run rate is 5.83 but they are going by 7.47.

This one is slipping from India's hand.

193/5 in 29.2 .. just 32 more of 28 balls. It is close but not quite. Aussies still have a better chance of making it.. unless a couple more wickets fall or a couple maiden overs are bowled.

P.S: .. and a wicket has fallen.. Ganguly takes Bevan.

2 wickets left.

with 11 runs needed of an over.. oh this is exciting!

  • Balaji foo is screwing it up.. giving runs and all.

  • Lee hits a six.. may death come upon balaji..! sorry.. I am so mad!

  • And Aussies win it with 2 wickets left and a single ball to spare.

What a match. Australia just pipped India to win it.

Congrats to Australia. :k:
