Re: VB series - Final 2 Pakistan-Australia - Sydney

but paki batting is responsible for losing the series

Re: VB series - Final 2 Pakistan-Australia - Sydney

Conclusive post; :elmo:

No matter how predictive we have been of this Away Series of Test matches and the Triangular VB ODI rubber, it has been nothing but fantastic from various points and aspects of the game.
The Pre-game stars and the “would be stars” turned up and almost found themselves on the nude beach, where every one knew what the other one had or carried. :clown:

Joke aside; the test matches were almost one sided and lacked spark of resistance of any kind.
In contrast the triangular VB rubber has been full of galore and fancy work by some of the game warriors. However the fall is always greater for the tallest.
The showman Shoaib and the overall Pakistan’s pace attack found it self in shreds and disarray. :bukbuk:

But the Glory ends on a good note to see Rana Naveed, Mohamed Khalil, Keeper Kamran Akmal and the last but not least the 'Lovable and non controversial ‘Shahid Afridi’ as a bowler and an excellent bat, came out shinning.
There are others and hats off to them and I wish them a bright future.

Inzimam and PCB should come out of the ‘Orthodox’ mentality of assuming that a Captain role is to distribute 50 overs among the bowlers, toss a coin, field setting etc etc.
It is much broader and interactive than Inzimam could ever dream of.

The scruffiness and ‘Maila’ look of some of the team members cannot go with out notice, non-shaven beards, tired looks, and dull and lanky body language, is comparable to street corner squatters in bright uniforms and colorful sunglasses.

There can be “many” fun comments coming out of this statement alone,

In today’s real-time world and game strategies many matters require an escalated level of mind functions such as Game rules and controversies, Diplomacy, voicing your concern with out breaking a rule. Facing the media, tactical deception and show off your Iron fist’ at the opponent and shrug off negativity.
I almost thought that if Waqar Younis could ‘Voice’ his concern in the commentary box over the biased umpiring, so could have Inzimam from the field.
And where is the famous ‘Post game’ press conference and the statement (if any) of our Captain or the Tour Manager.

Unfortunately the thinking goes that proper grooming and a sound knowledge and education is not a necessity or beneficial in the leadership role.

Wrong! From the point of understanding ICC rulings and game rules etc, requires an escalated level of intelligence, education to the level of Chairman down to the Vice Captain.
“The Boyz do good & the Boyz will congratulation” or the make shift coach ideology has to stop now, and should make room for more professional approach and tactical planning of the game.

I hope Pakistan will do better in India as they find themselves in better position to beat the archrivals yet again in view of its newfound form and new team mates :biggthumb:

Re: VB series - Final 2 Pakistan-Australia - Sydney

What did you smoke before writing this one? :hehe:

what do you want from Inzamam to say? are you pointing at his poor English or are you asking from him to just say “we are looser and we couldn’t control game” in very good accented English? just let him be what he wants, I only wish we could give him a translator and he talks in Urdu/Punjabi. :stuck_out_tongue:

Re: VB series - Final 2 Pakistan-Australia - Sydney

^ Why,

Bit sour for your taste buds? :stuck_out_tongue:

Poor English???,:mad2:

Sir! This is the reflection of his narrow mindedness in tactical situation. He is so limited with his thinking that his translation for ‘double nelson’ was “Shepperd ko muttu aya hoga”,

I like him for his batting. I hate him when he playes a ‘reverse’ swing with a cross bat,:smack2:

He should have said some thing about the umpiring standard diplomaticaly with out making it an issue or an excuse for losing,

Re: VB series - Final 2 Pakistan-Australia - Sydney

Rainy, do you know the consequences if a player says anything about umpiring? Pakistan has already sent a letter about it to ICC, not sure what happens, but that is the way to go.

Re: VB series - Final 2 Pakistan-Australia - Sydney

-----------x------------
This is the whole point,

If I was the Captain I would walk off the field with ‘Boyz’ in protest, forfeited the match (And that also a final :hula: )
Automatically would be prevented from touring India, , as Indians hate level against Pakistan is on the highest rise ever,
Plus this would have been a historical decision by Inzi, and could have been quite pioneering for ‘Netural Umpire’ cause.

Re: VB series - Final 2 Pakistan-Australia - Sydney

Yaar, when you are on the field you don't have the access to the technology and can't view "replays" or "hawkeye" so there is no way for a player/captain to challenge it, simply.... so Inzi's walking out would've been a disaster!

Re: VB series - Final 2 Pakistan-Australia - Sydney

^ Yes! That is rather sad in’it?
